Ombudsman de Montréal

The OMBUDSMAN DE MONTRéAL is an independant, non political and impartial body which handles and investigates complaints from citizens who believe they are adversely affected by a decision, an act or an omission of Ville de Montréal. This last resort recours is free and easily accessible. If the ombudsman concludes, following her investigation, that municipal rights of a citizen were not respected or that a citizen was not treated fairly, she intervenes with the City to have the decision changed or the situation rectified.
