Should I bring my bicycle or rollerblades?

Yes! The best was to visit some neighborhoods (Plateau Mont-Royal, Ile Ste-Helene and Notre-Dame, for example) is by bike or roller blades. There are miles and miles (or kilometers and kilometers) or bike paths you can use to get around. But if you can't bring your bike with you, you can rent one here (don't forget to include that in your budget).

For more information on bicycling (or to buy publications and maps about Montreal's many bicycle paths) in Montreal and Quebec, please visit Velo-Quebec 's web site.

You can find a free PDF map of Montreal's bike paths on Voyagez Fute 's site.
