Federal elections 2008

 The next federal elections are coming soon. They will be held on October 14 2008 (advance voting days are October 3, 4 and 6). For general information on the elections, the Elections Canada (www.elections.ca) website has it all. You will find a complete list of electoral districts (a search engine based on your postal code will tell you your electoral division if you don't already know it as well as the addresses where you can revise the electoral lists and polling stations, it also includes a map of the electoral division and ther importamt voting dates). There's also a complete list of candidates and parties as well as complete voting information, party finances, etc. You have to be on the electoral list to be able to vote, you should receive a notice of your registration by mail soon.
